Greetings Fellow Artist A couple of weeks ago, this newsletter turned 1 year old ππΎ *bows* Thank you, Thank you for your applause. And in this year of writing, even though I've been writing to you, I've also been writing to myself. β In fact I created this newsletter when I made the realization that working your ass off as an artist (or as any professional) does not guarantee your success. I was working intensely for years, years, years, a decade just to look up and see that the success needle had barely moved. β The mental turmoil that this put me through brought with it many revelations, insights, and conversations with the creator that revealed to me many things about what I was going through. And I knew if I was going through it, many others where going through it too. So I decided it was part of my mission to help other artists by revealing to them these insights. (via this newsletter) β The hard work is only part of the equation... there is another element an elusive element, that if not addressed will have you working hard as fuck, on all the wrong things. β So in tandem with these newsletter articles that have broken down different sub elements of this elusive element, I also started The Thriving Artist Corner Podcast, to put it all in auditory format. But now 14 episodes in I am happy to say that the Thriving Artist Corner Season 1 will be ending in a few episodes. Episode 21 will be the season finale. β Why am I ending the podcast?? Well the whole point of all of this information is to bring your attention to the elusive element, to guide you through your artistic journey, and I believe that with these 21 episodes and my 60+ newsletter articlesβ I've done that... but the whole point of all of this, is to be an artist. β So I've transitioned from messenger/educator back to artist. Which means doing way less talking, and way more making shit. And speaking of that, I've just dropped an EP on all streaming platforms entitled "WTR SGN"
This project was my way of pushing myself creatively and musically in ways I never have. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed creating it. β **Respond to this email with your thought's on the project (good or bad) and I'll send you a lil gift ;) **β What's that? Since I'm back in full artist mode, does that mean I'm discontinuing the newsletter as well? no...β The newsletter shall continue, however moving forward it'll be different. Every Friday you can look forward to a newsletter article from me, but instead of an informational every time, you can expect a free write, poem, or even a song. β Less informationals, more art.β You can look forward to podcast episode 15 next week, but remember EP 21 will be the last episode. β if you wanna share this article, just copy and paste this link: βsignup.thriving-artists.com/posts/the-endβ

You feel weak. You feel drained. You've reached your peak. You question the game. You thought it'd be fun, but it's not. because you got caught, trying to run, too fast. What a blast this was in the beginning, with endless energy and visions of winning. You climbed with joy and ran and leaped, But now you've reached a hill too steep. A hill too steep to climb. Your eyes and mind can't see the top, you've got lacerations from all the rocks, but if you let go now you'll drop, this is harder...

2024 is almost gone forever The completion point of days, weeks, months, and years serve as traffic lights for us to slow down, stop, and reflect before we continue driving down the streets of destiny. You made some new promises to yourself at the start of this year. Have you kept those promises? Are you still as focused as you were in January? To be honest, I used to despise New Years resolutions. They felt very ritualistic, yet most of the time they hold little weight. Most people do all...
