The Force

Greetings Fellow Artist,

There is, and will always be an oppositional force that pushes against you as you attempt to master your craft,

master yourself,

and master your life.

This force begins to act on all living beings as soon as they come into existence.

This force is the reason why life cannot stand still, and must always move and change to keep living.

For an example,

If you decided to stop working, you'd eventually run out of money and end up on the street.

If one day you decided to never move again, your muscles would atrophy and you'd get wildly out of shape before eventually dying.

It's the same force that "forces" (pun intended) you to stay on top of your craft because even a couple of days off will make you a bit rusty.

In this game of life we are constantly struggling to outrun this force with our actions,

so that we can eventually feel comfortable enough to rest.

This phenomena seems like quite a negative one at face value,

but the truth is, it is this force that prompts life to survive, thrive, and evolve.

I mention all of this to you because,

how much you enjoy your life experience is almost entirely dependent on your perspective.

If you view challenge as the opportunity for growth that it is,

and the light that illuminates the path to your dream life,

you will inevitably enjoy doing the things to outrun this force more than someone who is just fixated on how hard the challenges are.

Life has many doors (many different paths you can take), and pain and pressure are on the other side of all of them.

But our relationship with those struggles is what determines if we live a happy life, or a miserable one.

You feel weak. You feel drained. You've reached your peak. You question the game. You thought it'd be fun, but it's not. because you got caught, trying to run, too fast. What a blast this was in the beginning, with endless energy and visions of winning. You climbed with joy and ran and leaped, But now you've reached a hill too steep. A hill too steep to climb. Your eyes and mind can't see the top, you've got lacerations from all the rocks, but if you let go now you'll drop, this is harder...

You have officially completed your first 3 days of 2025 *confetti blast* How did it go? Was it productive? Or did your New Year motivation run out already? The new year can be quite an anxiety inducing time, You get excited about all the new things you want to pursue and accomplish. But most of the time you end up crawling back to the habits that hindered you from achieving your goals last year. The reality is, This cycle will kill your dreams, happiness, and quality of life if you allow it...

2024 is almost gone forever The completion point of days, weeks, months, and years serve as traffic lights for us to slow down, stop, and reflect before we continue driving down the streets of destiny. You made some new promises to yourself at the start of this year. Have you kept those promises? Are you still as focused as you were in January? To be honest, I used to despise New Years resolutions. They felt very ritualistic, yet most of the time they hold little weight. Most people do all...
